Terms and Conditions
Effective Date: August 29, 2025
1. Agreement to Terms
Welcome to the official website of Mehar Arts (www.mehararts.com), hereinafter referred to as the “Site.” These Terms and Conditions constitute a legally binding agreement between you, whether personally or on behalf of a business entity (“you” or “the user”), and Mehar Arts (“we,” “us,” or “our”) concerning your access to and use of the Site.
By accessing the Site, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by all of these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree with all of these terms, you are expressly prohibited from using the Site and must discontinue use immediately.
2. Scope of Service & Nature of the Site
This Site serves as a digital catalog and a showcase of the manufacturing capabilities of Mehar Arts. It is intended for business-to-business (B2B) informational purposes only.
- Not an E-commerce Platform: The Site is not an e-commerce platform. It does not facilitate online purchases or direct sales transactions.
- No Pricing Information: Prices for products are not listed on the Site. All pricing is determined on a per-project basis through a formal quotation.
- Invitation to Inquire: The content, products, and information displayed on the Site constitute an “invitation to treat” and not a binding “offer to sell.” It is an invitation for you to make an inquiry or a Request for Quotation (RFQ).
3. Intellectual Property Rights
Unless otherwise indicated, the Site is our proprietary property. All source code, databases, functionality, software, website designs, text, photographs, and graphics on the Site (collectively, the “Content”) and the trademarks, service marks, and logos contained therein (the “Marks”) are owned or controlled by us or licensed to us, and are protected by copyright and trademark laws.
The Content and Marks are provided on the Site “AS IS” for your information and business inquiry purposes only. No part of the Site, Content, or Marks may be copied, reproduced, aggregated, republished, uploaded, posted, publicly displayed, encoded, translated, transmitted, distributed, sold, licensed, or otherwise exploited for any commercial purpose whatsoever without our express prior written permission.
4. Product Representation and Imagery
All product images, designs, and specifications displayed on the Site are for representational and inspirational purposes only. While we strive for accuracy, we do not warrant that product descriptions, colors, finishes, or other content are error-free.
- Natural Material Variations: As we primarily work with natural materials like wood, you must expect variations in grain, color, knots, and texture. These are not considered defects but rather unique characteristics of each handcrafted piece.
- Customization: The products shown represent our manufacturing capabilities. We specialize in custom designs, and the final product will be based on the exact specifications agreed upon in the formal quotation and design approval process.
5. Request for Quotation (RFQ) & Business Inquiries
All business engagements with Mehar Arts begin with a formal inquiry.
- Official Channel: To initiate a business relationship or request a quotation, please use the official contact form on our website (www.mehararts.com/contact) or email us directly at [email protected].
- Quotation Process: Upon receiving your inquiry with detailed specifications, we will provide a formal quotation. This quotation will outline the scope of work, product specifications, pricing, Minimum Order Quantities (MOQs), payment terms, estimated production lead times, and shipping terms.
- No Binding Agreement: A quotation provided by us is not a binding agreement until it is formally accepted by you and a corresponding Proforma Invoice or Purchase Order is confirmed by us in writing.
6. Orders, Payment, and Manufacturing
Specific terms governing production orders will be detailed in a separate commercial agreement, quotation, or Proforma Invoice. These will typically include:
- Payment Terms: Our standard payment terms (e.g., advance payment and balance against shipping documents) will be clearly stated.
- Production Timeline: Production will commence only after the terms are agreed upon and the advance payment is received. Estimated lead times are not guaranteed and will be confirmed upon order placement.
- Quality Assurance: All products are manufactured in accordance with our rigorous 17-point quality inspection process.
7. Shipping and Export
Mehar Arts is a global exporter.
- Logistics: We arrange for domestic and international shipping. The terms of shipping (Incoterms), insurance, and responsibilities for customs clearance will be explicitly defined in our commercial agreement.
- Documentation: We provide a comprehensive set of documents for international shipments, including but not limited to the commercial invoice, packing list, and bill of lading.
